Message from President, Ken Birenbaum - 2010 Annual Meeting
Dear Fellow Congregants,
Our journey to build a sacred and embracing community is unending, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my service toward those goals as President of Congregation Shaare Emeth.
One year ago, I spoke about focusing our attention on balancing our sacred mission with our very human struggles, primarily the struggle to move from apathy to action, as well as the struggle to transcend financial austerity. Rather than saying no, it can’t be done, I believe all of our challenges can be overcome by saying yes each day, yes to our faith, and yes to our very special Shaare Emeth community.
