SEEDS of Justice: Shaare Emeth’s Effort to Develop Social Justice SEEDS of Justice organizes programs through which our community can repair our world. These acts of Tikkun Olam include: Food Drives, Winter Clothing Drives, School Supply Drives, Habitat for Humanity, Room at the Inn, Mitzvah Day and other programs that help those in need and advocate for social change. Summer Mitzvah Series
Performing a Mitzvah doesn’t happen only once a year. •Select from different agencies Be an early bird, sign up today for any one or more of these projects. Pick your agency and email Marti Zuckerman, gophins@sbcglobal.net Support Dogs- Sunday, July 18 & Sunday, July 25 9:30a.m.-12:00p.m. During the month of December, we choose six projects from Mitzvah Day and work with each of these organizations to make a difference. Some of the Projects are: helping with delivering Meals on Wheels, helping children, wrapping gifts, making meals, singing at senior citizens’ homes and supplying clothing and presents for Hanukah for Jewish families. Family Mitzvah Series Four times a year, families meet to learn about various ethical mitzvot and put that knowledge into action by volunteering at social service agencies throughout the community.
